A brief visual introduction to the debut collection
Confluence
Dark-ground abstract with warm chromatic tension
The most tonally complex piece in the collection. Deep charcoal grounds a collision of red, orange, and amber forms that suggest movement arrested mid-moment. Where the other works in this series invite the viewer in gradually, this one demands immediate engagement. Best placed where impact matters most — an entry point, a statement wall, a room that needs a reason to stop.
Threshold
Indigo and blue abstract with figural movement
Two forms in motion - or one form becoming. The deep blue palette projects quiet authority, making this the most placement-flexible work in the collection. The near-symmetrical composition creates a natural focal point without visual aggression. A reliable choice for spaces where art must perform daily without fatiguing the people who live and work near it.
Meridian
Blue and orange abstract with geometric grid structure
Complementary contrast at its most disciplined. The spiral form draws the eye inward through concentric arcs while the grid holds the composition in controlled tension. The warm orange accent prevents the cool dominant palette from reading as cold - making this piece unusually versatile across interior color schemes. Ideal for wellness, reception, and professional environments.
Frequency
Warm abstract with intricate sphere detail
The collection's most technically demanding work. Four spheres filled with dense contour line work sit within a looser warm ground of red, amber and earth tones - creating a deliberate tension between the meticulous and the gestural. Buyers who want a piece that reveals more on closer inspection will find this one rewards sustained attention. Strong candidate for hospitality settings where guests have time to look.
Solstice
Warm-toned abstract with figural presence and cool focal counterpoint
Built from the same visual language as stained glass - lead lines containing luminous fields of color - this work commands space without overwhelming it. A solitary cool note anchors the composition against a ground of deep amber, burgundy and red. Equally at home in a boardroom or boutique suite. Available as a single work or as the centerpiece of a multi-piece installation.
Artist Statement
These works are built on a single organizing principle: structure that moves. Each piece begins with a framework of deliberate linework — a method borrowed from the leaded divisions of stained glass — that contains and directs fields of color rather than simply filling space. The result is composition that holds under sustained viewing, in environments where art must perform across years, not moments.
The palette in each work is constructed as a system. Warm and cool tones are deployed in calculated tension, not decoration — each color decision made in relation to the whole rather than in isolation. This internal discipline is what allows the works to remain visually active without becoming fatiguing, and to integrate into diverse interior environments without disappearing into them. The collection operates as a coherent body of work while allowing each piece to stand independently.

For hospitality, professional, wellness, and collector environments, the work offers presence without visual exhaustion — pieces that can hold a room, invite return viewing, and remain active over time. Each work is designed to function as more than placement décor: it is a visual encounter built for spaces where atmosphere, memory, and distinction matter.

These are works made to last in spaces built to impress.

Before the work enters a room, it begins in the artist's hand.
Each Ceakou Studios edition is born from an intimate source artifact - a small, intensely worked original translated into scale, texture and presence. What follows pulls back the curtain on the process behind the editions: the origin, the giclée, the hand-embellishment, the authentication and the registry that preserves each work's place in the collection.
